Common interpretation methods
Consecutive interpretation
The interpreter translates what the speaker has said – usually one to two sentences at a time. The communication takes place in both directions and the individuals take turns speaking. The interpreter is neutral and unbiased.
Simultaneous interpretation
The interpretation takes place with a delay of a few words at the same time as the speaker speaks. Simultaneous interpreting usually takes place in one direction and certain technical equipment is necessary, e.g. interpreting booths and earphones. We will arrange the whole package: book the premises, making sure that functioning technical equipment for the event is available.
Distance interpretation online or telephone interpretation
This is a form of interpretation which can well be used if one needs an interpreter for a smaller project or for a very odd language and when there is a risk that travel costs significantly will exceed the total interpretation cost. In distance interpretation you will have access to all our competence located in another location. Distance interpretation can many times be an effective and cost saving alternative, with maintained or improved interpretation quality.
